The graphics very explicitly were never my main issue.

The UI is horribly unoptimized, unresponsive, and the overhaul actually made things more complicated, just for the sake of them moving it. There's a strong reason why modders changed EVERYTHING nearly instantly.

Being a step up from something that could genuinely pass for a PS1 game isn’t really an achievement. They still look HORRIFIC

I love Nintendo, gamefreak, and Pokemon in general. But I miss this level of love that came with the games, the innovation.
