It's 40 years since this was created and it is one of the few tapes I kept; in the last year of University 4 house mates with varying music tastes took turns to pick a track to go on the compilation tape. The shared house had rudimentary facilities but did contain the means produce 4 copies.

Brings to mind a strange day trip to Berlin a friend and I did in February 1987, included exchanging Deutsch Marks for Ost Marks in order to get into the East for an hour or so. Despite not being spies crossing over and back was nerve wracking. Here's the friend and the wall.
