Cool dad shit. My daughter (11) told me a couple nights ago that she had a girlfriend. I feel great that she is comfortable enough with our relationship to tell me that and also that she has found her first love.

For the record my ex-wife took no Tylenol when she was pregnant with my autistic child. This whole things a made up distraction.

Hung up a Wyebot sensor yesterday for a trial run. Today I added some custom wireless/wired network tests. I’ve got it hung in the middle of a group of classrooms so I can see about 27 APs from it. Started getting some good data that says our network is doing well. #Wi-FiLife

After a month of waiting I got my son’s MRI results back. He has what’s called polymicrogyria (irregularities in the fold of the brain) which could explain his being non-verbal as well along with his epilepsy. Not exactly what I wanted to hear but it does help. #epliepsy #autism

Gen X dad here, feeling gen z’s housing pain for real. Quickly being priced out of the city where I work, when my lease is up I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to move to another county or across the state line.
