On CBC, @ianhanomansing.bsky.social blew right past this NHL statement to give a lengthy ‘last word’ to a defense lawyer, unrelated to the case, blaming social narrative for what the players went through in CBC’s, concerning pattern, to “both sides” a narrative -that kinda proves THIS Thread😔

💯 Today, 5 Jr National hockey players were ALL acquitted on sexual assault charges in 🇨🇦 today. The 5 on 1 -THAT didn’t take place on the ice BUT in a hotel room -8 yrs ago-when she too was about 20 yrs. Female, Judge ruled alone.-after cause to remove 2 juries, did NOT find her testimony credible.🥲

So, a CONVICTED, sex trafficker is a fucking hero for answering questions? Is it b/c she’s seeking JUSTICE FOR ALL of their INNOCENT victims & she’d REFUSE a Pardon when offered?😂 Lawyer needs to GFH-immediately. As a🇨🇦 watching this all play out, why are Americans participating in the instant destruction of their own govt? I’d fully expect Putin to have devised ways he could destroy the US but NEVER thought so many actual Americans could willingly participate. OR has he “assisted”? It’s pretty weird.
