I'm not fucking around when it comes to crunchy inventory management. I want you tracking water consumption and quality, the frequency, amount and quality of meals, the scrap you have and if/how you can craft something useful out of it.

Inventory management is immensely important not only to crafting, but survival. In this world, going unnoticed is often the best course of action, with combat being scrappy, swift, and often lethal; Resourcefulness and quick thinking are your keys to success; Understanding the landscape and how to get your requisite resources- food, water, clothing, and shelter- will be paramount to your success; Knowing how to navigate the wastes and what tribes may be living there, what gangs roam the area, or knowing a village you can stay a night can save your life; And being able to use the arcane technology could get you ahead in the rat race- or kill you. A table reading: Food Poisoning Condition 1-4: Unpoisoned 5-9: Light illness for D6 hours. Cannot add proficiency dice for duration. Painkillers can remedy this symptom. 10-14: Mild illness. Need 1 day of clean water and a full night’s rest to shake off. Cannot add proficiency dice or bonuses for duration. 15-19: Harsh illness for D6 days. Cannot add proficiency dice or bonuses for duration. Need clean water and a full night’s rest each day to recover. If a player did not drink and sleep properly, another die is rolled at the end of duration to extend it. Antidote will decrease the remaining duration to 1 day. 20-23: Severe illness for 2D6 days. Cannot add proficiency dice or bonuses for duration. Need antidote once per week, clean water and a full night’s rest each day to recover. If a player did not drink and sleep properly for the duration, they die. 24+: Death in D6 days. Reduces dice pool for every roll to 1D10. Clear this by taking antidote each day, drinking clean water and a full night’s sleep each day, and eating a full meal at least every other day.

Like, maybe instead of a black box, having a point like you have for the viewer, an A and B, and then draw a line between, and show how the smoke bomb prevents the line from connecting them, smth like that? And for an area, a cone that shows fov, and how the obstacle occludes it.
