Very pleased indeed with the new car - somewhat more thirsty than my old Honda that recently died, however worth it for being very fun indeed !

A busy time a couple of days ago - moving one of our very heavy babies up to the second floor of its new home ! We begin installation soon.

Our "reference" clock is somewhat antique at the organ museum x3
September 8, 2025 at 2:44 PM
Busy day the other day getting ready for building works at another venue we have an organ going into - regulators coming back to base for releathering !
August 23, 2025 at 5:20 AM
Our future time keeper at the museum - Gents of Leicester Master clock, will use this to run multiple clocks throughout the complex !
August 15, 2025 at 1:04 AM
Thats better, other side tomorrow, and then think about papering and regluing all the ivories which have come off as the instrument has been so damp in someones barn !
August 7, 2025 at 7:26 PM
Patching and new gussets time! Yet another "favour" instrument for a friend that's in far worse a state than I'd bargained for ...
August 7, 2025 at 5:50 PM
New addition to the museum collection - probably the only one of this model in the UK, fabulous carvings of a sort of art deco Quetzalcoatl!
July 21, 2025 at 5:29 PM
An old friend of ours that was surplus to the museum collection, restored for a colleague of mine by us - has now found a new home, someone very keen on exploring what it can do which is great news !

Short morning in the workshop to get back in time for a sleep before the closing of Furality 2025 - got this set of bellows stripped down, and wished I hadn't ! Goodness me, cardboard ribs not wood, not even hinged - folded ! Cracks everywhere, may as well have been made from matchsticks, urgh !
June 9, 2025 at 11:55 AM
A slightly disjointed end to Furality - through no fault of their own. With only the closing ceremonies for me to somehow wrangle my schedule enough to attend.

A picture of some of the most important people in my life, each of whom I am incredibly privileged to call a friend.

Day two was great ! As usual loved the game shows, more tomorrow.
June 7, 2025 at 6:35 AM
Great first day of Furality ! However seemingly even in the virtual world I cannot escape bloody Harmoniums O.o
June 6, 2025 at 4:51 AM
All ready for Furality this week !
June 5, 2025 at 2:31 AM
A new workshop creature has arrived !
June 2, 2025 at 7:57 PM
A couple of portable instruments in the workshop at the moment - this very strange thing has triple rise bellows feeders, never seen anything like it on a small instrument such as this O.o

I'm now on Signal ! Give me a nudge if you like

If you see this, I IMPLORE you to post a picture from whatever device you're using without explanation.

Busy couple of days at another organ museum - partial restoration and cosmetic work on a lovely Alexandre Harmonium.

Awful news today for all of my Trans friends, things will improve with the passage of time, however I do wish it would hurry up ...

However, now seems like a good day to remind people that the Potter franchise can be left to rot, and that the immensely superior Discworld - is for everyone.
April 16, 2025 at 7:43 PM
Bit of time today keeping the Yamaha going - one of my favourite instruments here.
April 12, 2025 at 4:19 PM
I've tried WOW so many times in the past, never been able to "click" with it, seems I have been bitten by the bug now >.> God help me
April 9, 2025 at 5:27 PM
So my arm has been twisted, people have been nagging me to start making video tours around our museum collection of organs and organ shaped objects, so I shall start doing just that ! However the question is where to start !? The Harmonium room is the most complete, so probably there.
