I discovered “Giant Days” while searching for comics to read online while living in Myanmar.

One of my favorite comics, “Giant Days” is an excellent slice-of-life about university life and friendship.

The Hilda series has become one of my feel-good comics.

Slice of life plus Scandinavian folklore? What’s not to love.

I love manga that mix genres with “slice of life”.

For example, “Mushishi” by Yuki Urushibara.

Horror + Slice of Life

I really l love “Lonely Castle in the Mirror” by Mizuki Tsujimura

A wonderful heart-filling read about human connection.

I really find myself gravitating towards cozy, heart-generative reads in these trying times.

“Scarlet Morning” is hands down my favorite middle school novel I read this year.

The only down side is now I’ve got to wait for the sequel.

“Leaf” by Daishu Ma

It’s amazing how much meaning can be conveyed without a single word in the volume.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve dreamed of buying and then reforesting an entire state. For some reason, I fixated on Maine (Sorry, Mainers!!!). Little did I know the process was called rewilding. 12-year-old me definitely needed this book.

Finally got around to reading “The Backstagers” by James Tynion IV and Rian Sygh. Ludo gave it 5 out of 5 paws.

I think he has a little bit of a crush on Jory.
