Don't be fooled. Our one snowdrop got me into a state of high excitement..... there were no further snowdrops... and that one's head has fallen off.

Read a lot of Agatha Christie more than once too but maybe not a dozen...because even my brain can't forget who did it after 11 times.

Books that have made me laugh uncontrollably - Terry Pratchett, P.G Wodehouse and Clive James. Like you with Terry Pratchett, I'd never read Hitchhikers Guide - my niece made me read it and it was also a hoot.

Absolute favourite is The Wee Free Men. I had to put it down when I was reading it on a train - completely reduced me to a wibbling mess of hysteria and snot.
