Yeah I mostly read Japanese authors right now because it’s just more dark in my opinion lol

Goth by Otsuichi is one of the best books I’ve ever read, but it does get pretty gory and detailed

And I also just read my annihilation by Fuminori Nakamura which was kind of a mind fuck

I haven’t read too much yet but anything I’ve read has left me contemplating for days lol 🙈 you should def move to Japan! It’s so exciting here
