Calling all amateur horror film makers! Philadelphia’s own ‘Make Love Not Movie Club’ is looking for submissions to this screening around Halloween. My good friend is running this event and it should be so fun! I’m working on my idea right now :)

I’ve been going to this for a bit and highly recommend for any tech people in Philly looking for a tech critical space. Iffy Books is an amazing resource and is absolutely worth checking out.

Our goal is to build an offline network for fun and learning. Newcomers are welcome! At our last meeting we set up a DHCP server, which will handle assigning IP addresses when new devices join the network. We have two or three websites running locally at the moment, with a bulletin board and various other projects in the works. Our next challenge is setting up a DNS server.”
