I think that in the face of elder things the first thing one must confront is ego death, and a major contributor to that is the indifference of the entity itself.

Season 1 was great. Season 2 was fine. Season 3 signaled clearly that this is a franchise for selling mech now. I did not see season 4.

I run an Eater deck. I call it Smelly Cat. I put all my premodern squirrel cards into it and it's fun! But performs... fine. Would be better if I took out all my Grandpa cards and put in halflings, but I enjoy my nostalgia jank. 😅

I saw a tiktok the other day where someone was explaining the theory that Pennywise and Mary Poppins are the same kind of entity but they also roped The Other Mother into it and it got me thinking about how I don't actually know the formal name for an extraplanar entity that feeds on emotion.
