I have a twisty sense of humor. I support law enforcement & for me, ALL lives matter! I'm an avid reader which means I pay attention. Get nasty, overly rude or just general hate, you won't be posting or following me for long! Shark photo by George Probst
Yes, that's why we love sharks. Basically they're like toddlers. As such they're quite adorable. Kind of. Mainly when we don't see them indulging their in meals. It's wiser to let them do that in private. We're better off that way. Watching toddler eat can be hard to take. They're a tad messy 😂💙

The first time I saw a white peacock flare I was amazed... the iridescence and the white was just incredible... I'll never forget what it was like when the sun was dancing around the feathers. I hope the white one by you sticks around for you do see it! 💙

I used to just love it when my cats would do the stretched out paw thing. Most cats have to be very relaxed and content to do that.

I never had that many... I imagine when you have your own private Sparkle Chikkin you get a lot of 'perks' 😂
August 23, 2025 at 8:56 AM
Yeah... they can be funny that way. Especially if he thought you were trying to move in on his females by using his former display!

I wasn't the best at it but I enjoyed it a lot. My problem was I had no way to have my own kiln so as the shops closed up, so did my access. Knowing your artistry I can only imagine how amazing your work was!

I used to do ceramics too. There used to be shops all over, now there's none. I used to make porcelain, lace draped dolls & china painting. There was an instructor from NYC that retired near where I lived. Once she passed there was no way for me to continue doing it. That's something I still miss!

I always said Oh-reg-a-no. Now I find myself saying Or-ah-gohn-o. My bestie thinks I'm insane. 😂

I love it. I knew glass blowing wasn't easy but I had NO idea what it required of the maker. It was eye opening to see the artists come up with an idea & then make it happen!

Awww.... she just wants to snuggle and make daddy's owie better!

If you have Netflix you should check out Blown Away. It's a glass blowers competition & it's pretty amazing. I certainly understand now why the stuff is so expensive! There's four seasons & maybe two Xmas specials. It truly is fascinating to see how it's done & what those artists can create.

That was one of the first things I noticed & loved. Helping others beat the clock, staying friends afterwards & all for a bouquet of flowers & a cake-stand! I doubt many Americans would do it without a boatload of cash as the prize! I now say oregano the British way! 😂😂

Yes, the amount of swelling can be unsettling. Having recently had nearly a liter of fluid drained from my knee, I understand the alarm.

Man... I used to hate when that happened. When Ludie decided he wanted to retire to Grandpa's house, he learned quite fast to stay out of Dad's way. With Dad's diabetic neuropathy Ludie discovered Dad couldn't tell when he was by his feet when walking.

Excellent! You heal faster when pain is lessened. So glad to hear your doc is wise enough to understand that! 💙

A deli near me has Chester Fried Chicken (YUM!!) but that all. Sadly, prices got too high so they went back to run-of-the-mill deep fried chicken. There isn't any actual Chester stores here. Maybe it's a more 'southern thing' when it comes to restaurant menus.

You know it's weird but I've never had those! Probably because there aren't any restaurants that I know of that has them on the menu! 😂

Just so she doesn't try to play with it when you're moving! That would be bad...

The worst was the seaweed it was so frickin' salty & that started the revolt of texture. I've got friends that eat it every chance they get. They think I'm just being weird but I'm the same with liver. I love it but have to slice it into tinier pieces as normal bites are too 'texture-y' 😂

When my Grams had it done, @ 70 she said she wished she'd done it years before because the overall pain relief was outstanding. But she also said the recovery was SO difficult she wasn't so sure it was worth it. It aged her & she never got her stamina back. She often said the recovery made her 'old'

That's probably the reason it hasn't been plundered and ruined. The conditions won't allow humans to destroy it because of the discomfort & dangerous conditions.

Yeah, I was pretty much forced to try it & it made me gag & couldn't swallow! I think the main reason most people eat so easily is because those sauces like wasabi are so hot/strong you don't really taste it! 😂

Although, for me it was more the texture than the taste. I'm weird that way...
August 19, 2025 at 9:56 PM
Holy cow! That's amazing... I wonder if those conditions are the reason behind such huge specimens.
