This bunch will be going to the 'Keep the light on' exhibition at floating goose studios.
I've been making these sorts of flowers for years. They're a wire frame with wool (mostly acrylic) woven around.

I just found out that Pantone does a colour of the year. For 2026 its Cloud Dancer, describe it as a lofty white. It's literally just white.
Same page brands had done Cloud Dancer coloured things. Like white playdough and white sticky note. I feel like they could have been more imaginative.

This was for 'Wish You Were Here' last month, an exhibition held by Adelaide Central School of Art. It's done every year and you only found out the artist after the piece is bought. All art is the size of a post card.
The Exhibition felt a bit postal, so I made a letter.

Tinny books round tow. I think I'm getting better. All are about the same size and the edge of the page blocks are pretty even.
Not sure what I'm going to do with 10 tinny books, maybe make a tinny bookcase.

Car update: The impact did more than just a bit dented. So had to get a new car and ended up finding a newer model but in blue.

Having a dilemma over sand colour for underwater. At first I did "sand is yellow". Now looking at more photos, it seems to vary with lighting, water clarity and less saturated.

Haven't used oil pastels in long enough that I'm almost relearning them. It's really a trust the process and keep going sort of medium.
