The rule of law has delivered:

Profiteering
Poverty
Poor housing
Low wages/pensions
Queues for hospital appointments
Premature death to many
Sewage in rivers
Cuts in spending on essential services
Closure of libraries, community centres.

Whose law, who rules? Govts appease corporations/rich.
Nothing will change until the political system is freed from the clutches of corporations and the super-rich
The law is being used to enforce existing power structures for the benefit of the few

I've said this a million times, but I'll say it again: it is truly striking how many Democratic politicians, pundits, and commentators have internalized the idea that the right shapes public opinion and it is the job of the left to respond to it.

UK drops down list of affluent nations after decade of stagnation.

Deindustrialization, austerity, low wages, profiteering, inequitable distribution of income take toll.

Poorest in West Midlands
worse off than counterparts in France, Malta, Slovenia.

Govts obsessed with the City neglect the rest.

Two confirmed gigs in London, England on March 27 and April 12, and two confirmed gigs in Australia, in Katoomba on July 12 and Canberra on July 19. Hoping for many more gigs in those places and elsewhere coming up. Drop me a line if you might be up for organizing something!

Take a moment to read this excerpt from the memoir of Lyndon Johnson(limited to four pictures so read the reply to this for the full thing). American politics has always been, essentially, a struggle between severely flawed people trying to do good and the most depraved bastards you've ever seen

If that disgusting racist and grifting liar Nigel Farage shouldn't have been on Question Time even once, nevermind 38 times.

Give this a Like, or better yet a RP.

The 'farmers' protest is a good time to remind people of the Just Stop Oil protestors who got 21 years, just for planning a protest.

Two tier justice indeed.
