This is why going "we don't have a way to access data about disability status so we'll just make the data for IEPs that we DO have access to stand in for it" is not just lazy but wrong, sure as SHIT means it's not generalizable into sweeping statements about disproportionate disciplinary measures

I remind her to listen to the teacher in that instance, knowing that her making a sound like a call could put her whole class in danger. She nods, "because if we listen to the teacher, we'll all be safe all the way down to our hearts."
