Everytime i open reddit and see someone say “it doesn’t matter” my head spins, cuz we’re literally talking about a multi-billion dollar industry centered on grown men playing basketball. None of it “matters” beyond the meaning we give it, idk why people get mad at others for caring.

Tbh, I think I was mostly this way until i took Eng420: Literary Criticism (that is not a joke that was its actual course number lol) in my senior year of college and had my understanding of what language even is broken down, that i realized misplaced expectations can/are the bane of understanding
