Piranesi is one of my favorites and I read Blood Over Bright Haven last year and was in love. Very relevant . I want to try Sword of Kaigen, but I've started it 2 times now and can't get into it :/

Yeah as someone whose job it is to process welfare applications, you have to have been a documented immigrant for 5 years before you're even eligible. Unless special circumstances like refugee status. Yet I hear this sentiment from my CO WORKERS. Hello???

I actually dnf'd it when I first bought it and it sat in my shelf for years. When I did finally read it I was like, why did I do that lol. I guess it just needed the right time. Now I reread it every now and then. Gorgeous writing!
