The electorate as a whole average out to a bunch of fickle idiots. I’m sure you had the same concern about Dems being too centrist during Trump’s first run, right? Did Obama win on a super left agenda? Nope. — I am frustrated with Dems fealty but winning elections had never been done on principle.

They only care that there was no way to cover up the scandal. If there was even the tiniest way to slither out of it, they’d be screaming support for them. So telling.

Republicans do love to say the quiet part out loud. They don’t care about the law, the endangering service members, or anything else. They only care about doing a good job covering it up.
