My erstwhile travel companion, the space Michaelangelo backpack I bought from the kid section at Target on my first day in the US, has finally broken on this, the day I leave the US for the foreseeable future. Probably not an omen.

Basically, it's a note-taking program. Less basically, it's a locally-stored vault system that lets you organize your notes into a wikipedia-like interconnected archive, all in non-proprietary markdown files. See the picture for an network graph of my curent D&D campaign (forgive the gamer colours)
