Seeking solutions

Opinions are mine - not institutionally tied.
Adding noise to the transport layer would have other issues?

Also, ALPN identifies the traffic type in many cases anyway.

Yes it is kind of silly we're rehashing the same app protocol issues and design leading to information leakage, though.

David,

I don't disagree that actor is a problem, and the media platforming is gross, but isn't his premise correct?, and I'm not sure he's a baron most responsible..

I do think there's a question of hypocrisy; are his funds and actions actually helping solve this problem?

What're you thinking of?

do you agree that there are institutional leaders and practices / culture across institutions that are contributing to this problem, and having leaders with a modicum of character would help to ameliorate that?
I'm not saying that character can or should be systematically enforced by 'standards' 1/

I think it's possible to do this in a way that doesn't lead to that- humans are still a component of the system.
Also, bolstering systems and structures in themselves or detached from humanness can easily lead to amplifying authoritarian capabilities, or totalitarianism. < kind of what got us here??

Or by restoring character and integrity, so we have institutional leaders in civic and public institutions who aren't feckless amoebas uncritically squirrel-chasing whatever the 'hot new thing' is that is drawing in capital..

Actually, paid for by professional Americans' opt-out default allocation 401ks with passive allocation into high-falutin' silicon wafer manufacturers and 'AI' human decoder ring companies..

I was wondering about this too..

Also, Bp Sutton, who is overseeing the inquiry, had to be advised by Wood against a priest in REC offering Calvin Robinson stay/orders.. 🤔

I'm sorry, but I'm wondering how much of this is just out-of-touch boomer leadership??! (Not that gen-X is necessarily better)
