My viewing companion tonight. She and her sister are 6 weeks old today! #hatm

Meet my viewing companion this evening. Her name is River and she's 3 weeks old today. I rescued her and her sister from a friend's backyard. I had to separate them because of inappropriate sucking, and she's had 2 butt baths today. It's obviously a terrible awful life. #hatm

This is what passes (pretty easily, mind you) for bonkers in my house. That's Cheeto. And that's a Brand. New. Loaf of bread. He absconded with it from the fridge while I was putting groceries away and took it to my bedroom on the other side of the house. F-ing Cheeto. #hatm

I used to volunteer with a neonatal kitten rescue. We themed the names of litters. Some habits are hard to break. Funshine is the siamese, and Wishy B is the tuxedo (Mama obviously got around). Wishy B's still a *little* bit feral. #hatm

I had this little dude in my lap while I was singing along with "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" This is Felix. His roar could definitely use some work. But his purr box works JUST fine. #hatm

Fiyero had surgery on his ear, so he must wear a cone. He is currently head butting me while he naps. He's also choking me with the bottom of his cone. Even still, I will not move him...because he's my buddy and I'm a sucker.

This is Joey. Joey is an agent of chaos. Joey would like to throw his hat in the ring to be Speaker. While he creates mayhem everywhere he goes, he is also wickedly smart and able to win over the most skeptical of critics. Plus, he's really cute. Vote Joey Mushkila for Speaker!

Apropos of this discussion, my History of Religions kids had to draw out the life cycle/reincarnation cycle of Hinduism today. One of them drew a comic strip. I am well pleased.

What is this "tame" you speak of? Since Joey came into my house, tame has left the station. His middle name is Mushkila ("problem" in Arabic) and his collar looks like crime scene tape. It all tracks perfectly.
