is it not in "the theory" somewhere that allowing an abuser to abuse you every day generally makes things worse for the abused, not better?

Well I'm having a very odd MTG moment in that this is one of the very rare things I agree with.
We spent a huge amount of money on research at the university level and a lot of the drugs are made right down the road, yet we pay out the ass.
