Well this is interesting. I have posted on Bluesky about the (well known by Israel for over a year) fate of the Bibas kids and mum the total of ONCE on Bluesky yet Israel’s propagandists are already labelling it spam.

This law enables prolonged detention without charges, stripping detainees of any meaningful judicial review or due process rights. Since October 2023, Israeli authorities have extensively used this legal framework to arbitrarily detain thousands of Palestinian residents of Gaza. Under the current amendments, detainees must wait 45 days for the Be'er Sheva District Court to ratify the detention order. Once ratified, detention lasts six months, with the possibility of indefinite extensions. We reiterate our call for the immediate and unconditional release of Dr. Abu Safiya, as well as all Palestinians who have been illegally arrested and arbitrarily detained by Israeli authorities, including medical workers.

As far as I remember ‘ethnic cleansing’ is not a term used under international law whereas ‘forced displacement without right of return’ is. We just all know of this as ethnic cleansing because that’s what it is www.unhcr.org/sites/defaul...

My father was subjected to severe mistreatment and torture by the army in the early days of his arrest and was held in solitary confinement for 24 days. After that, he was transferred to Ofer Prison, Room 24, Section 2. Dr. Hossam's health condition is stable, but he suffers from chronic high blood pressure and an enlarged heart muscle. He is currently receiving treatment. However, he is only provided with one meal a day, which is insufficient and of very poor quality. Regarding his legal case, it is clean, and there are no charges against him. All the accusations attributed to him have been denied due to a lack of evidence, and the case is clear. There is also a possibility of his release in the coming stages, as there are no charges against him from the Israeli public prosecution. He urges the world to help secure his release and the release of all detained healthcare personnel from all hospitals. They must be protected, their rights ensured, and they should receive care and be released as soon as possible. Thank you to everyone concerned about the case of my father's abduction. We call on everyone who can help to pressure for the provision of proper food, medicine, and his swift release. Thank you.

AIPAC's overarching strategy was to prevent criticism of Israel by pretty much anyone of influence, whether in government or not. Accordingly, they had a war room where one guy had a whole staff devoted to tracking down negative statements by journalists and celebrities of any kind. The same guy was in charge of infiltrating Arab-American organizations and reporting back on their strategies. He used "Arab-looking" Jewish kids. They never accomplished much with the Arab organizations, but their spying on left-leaning Jewish organizations did lead to people [allegedly] losing their jobs when their employers found out they were secret peaceniks. McCarthyist tactics were always in their bag of tricks. If you got in the way, they rolled over you. This goes back to when I was there.
