Gen Z crocheter 🧶
It’s been a while and have been really busy but it’s turning out well so far! The pipe cleaner is glued and sewn to the inside of the head and I’ll attach it to the inside of the body in a way that it can swivel.

Thanks for the help! Im knitting continental. I tried this and my stitches were in fact twisted, but even after going in the back loop my purls were still tight. So maybe it’s that in combination with some other issue. Maybe I just need to figure out how to have looser tension for purls or something

As a crocheter I heavily relate to this. Have tried to get into knitting twice but since I’m so slow (even with continental) I always give up when I don’t make as much progress as I’m used to with crochet. 😭 Maybe one day I’ll have the patience to keep at it long enough to get faster

Looks beautiful! Three or four years ago I started a mosaic crochet blanket with yarn about that size but haven’t touched it in forever 😭 seeing your blanket makes me want to finish it but who knows if I’ll actually do it

Those patterns are worded differently but it looks like they would yield the same result, if you’re knitting the ks and purling the ps, youre essentially just doing two rows of the same (k1, p1). And then when you k the ps and p the ks you are switching to the two rows of p1, k1 if that makes sense
