I feel good saying to take their time, but then they go months without updates and complete it far past 6 months :( Now I only say no rush to people I trust.

I get distracted by the shiny new stuff someone might be drawing but, same as you, most of the time it ends up being not done unless you pester them. It really is exhausting. So when I DO find an artist that I have good experience with I become a repeat customer.
