I feel that it still doesn’t help because people will come across your post and think it’s okay to comment on it when really it has nothing to do with anybody. I understand concern but let her deal with it by herself and with the people around her.

I agree that it's worrying of course, but you and the rest of the world is not helping her deal with whatever is happening privately. By people constantly commenting on her body it could make it a whole lot worse, she's already judged enough without the added pressure of trying to look "healthier".
