I've heard grumblings about the situation from team officials. Some on and off record.
As of right now, there's no plan to move away from Snapdragon Stadium and have their own stadium somewhere else

My guess is they think the football team is gonna kill the field and may need a day for it to recover.

We hate the whole situation too. Sharing with a college football team is not ideal.

SDFC has a weekend conflict with the owners of the stadium, San Diego State Football.
They play Saturday and I'm guessing they want time to repair any damage the football team has on the field
