I got to check out a plant from the LIBRARY (octavia you will always be in my heart). I got to meet such an incredible group of people that I am currently (two days after saying goodbye) scheming to see in the future 🥹😭

I've kept my screaming out of public eye, forgetting that I can update my social media. Surprise! I'm in a sci-fi residency in Banff this fall!

Excited to meet @amalelmohtar.com, @aijiang.bsky.social , and @premeemohamed.com, & everyone attending!

Can't wait to go be a big nerd in Banff!!

There's a law in vancouver where a bedroom can only be considered one if there's a window, I like how they really pushed the limits of the law on this one (photo 1 is of the entrance area, 2 of a bedroom)

TWO pictures of this monstrosity, like there is something to be proud about, and it continues in the bathroom.

There is something weirdly aesthetically pleasing about this and I can't put my finger on it. So bad it circled around back to good in the worst way.

I live in Vancouver Canada and I'm moving soon, so I'm going to post all the great architectural/interior design choices that I see until I find something that doesn't make me depressed

And finally, I try to convince you to read The Three-Body problem by Cixin Liu. I will be returning to reading this book now that I'm done writing about it.

The fact that I recommend 10 books this year is purely coincidental

Starting off, I try to convince you to read Nettle and Bone by T. Kingfisher

These are my top reads of 2024, which to me that means:

- I found it interesting
- I keep recommending it
- It kept me thinking about it long after I put it down

This year was hard for me and I didn't read much, but these books reminded me I love reading
