Not too familiar with Dutch politics but saw an earlier mention of a liberal party becoming the largest and some ”christ/conservative” party (vvd?) losing all mandates.

Like, tons of game services run on AWS. They have Twitch. Had some forked game engine.
Yet, I didn’t even know that they were competing in the games space apart from perhaps some random press releases.

Regexps are great! Especially for lexing or _very_ simple structures, but if you’re doing _anything_ but basic structure then use a real parser (or use the regexps for tokenization).
That’s almost always the main fault, doing too complex stuff with them.

.. (thinks) that more power actually makes those chatbots truly smart doesn’t mean that the tech is flawed, iirc Apple calls their on-phone stuff Small Languahe model and that stuff doesn’t take much more power than a web-search with Google.

I think it’s important to differentiate madness from technology.
LLM tech is just an evolution, good at search but fundamentally not much smarter than my toy chat AI I hacked together 20 years ago as a teenager.

… needing attention, probably one of my finest achievements in gamedev was noticing how dysfunctional one workflow was, improved it (not to perfection sadly) for like a 6x gain in productivity for those involved (so they could focus on better things).

I see your analogy but I’m not sure if it works, watermelons are tasty and the redness as a negative becomes a confusing resulting in a Norman doorish-ness of this analogy.

That sucked! I had some wonderful friends in our highschool equivalent, junior high and before however mostly sucked for me but going to the next level we picked classes ourselves due to interest and found better matched friends.
