I seriously cannot praise micro.blog enough, it has its own quiet social network too, free of 'followers' and 'likes' - just lots of nice folks sharing cool things.

But also - I use micro.blog as the base and I use that functionality to add personality and spontaneity, following a 'POSSE: Publish on your Own Site, Syndicate Elsewhere' IndieWeb philosophy

@chrisshort.net! You make me feel seen! I do have a rather elaborate content management system, yes. I keep my content current in a Google Spreadsheet and my content manager drips out posts one day at a time.

It never came up during our week together! But I do already know the alphabet - although I'm a bit rusty, and I get 'g' and 'h' mixed up, apparently
