One places the blame on a society built to devour endlessly and the other says "everything will be okay as long as rational CEOs control things, which thankfully we at Amazon are :]"

Also before I get someone like "to be fair the fallout show says corporations caused the great war" true but there's a big diff between "profit driven consumption eventually exhausted the world's resources resulting in war" and "a big shadowy room of cartoon CEOs pushed a big nuke everyone button"

It doesn't need to be profitable in an economic sense if it serves as a tool of mass misinformation and to make people distrust absolutely anything and everything they see, (or blindly follow false generated narratives) contributing to further apathy and inaction.

I sincerely don't understand why people think it's some sort of magic bullet. There's so many undeniably provable things that should've gotten him and the regime out of any position of power and into jail.

The files matter for their own sake, sure. But as proof of wrongdoing? Add them to the pile.
