Fascinating photo compares the dentition of a grey wolf to that of a spotted hyena. Both are fearsome predators, but the bite force of the hyena (1,100 pounds per square inch or psi) is more than double that of a wolf (398 psi).

Actress Tippi Hendren in her kitchen with one of her rescud tigers. She started rescuing exotic felines in 1972 and then established The Shambala Preserve located on her property in Acton CA. The Preserve has rescued and given shelter to over 235 exotic felines.
