I finally have a chill weekend, good weather, and a stack full of new books. If anyone needs me, I’ll be in a hammock pretending to have no responsibilities.

It was a busy weekend and I’m fairly certain I’m losing my voice from talking to so many people. Hope everyone enjoyed their Mother’s Day!

If you’re in the Chicagoland area this weekend, Cantigny has 26 juried vendors, their beer garden opening, and concerts both days. Lots of fun activities and plenty of shopping opportunities for Mother’s Day and the graduation season.

I love unpacking new goodies! Preparation is underway for the next jewelry pop-up.

Throwing myself into work. Grabbed some of my favorite patterns from Unraveled Handknits, North Road Knits, and HoneyStitchCo to distract my brain from this chaos. My grandfathers didn’t fight in WWII just to have history repeat itself.

A new week brings fresh ideas. I’ve been throwing myself into preparations for back to back knitwear pop-up shops and was starting to feel burnt out. Mix in a few audiobooks & a little Rage Against the Machine and I’m feeling inspired again. 💜
