Thanks for the post. After long suffering/torture the dark cloud was lifted on the 25/4/1974 by Captains/Generals of April “red carnations day” it was remarkably well organised. One of the most exciting days of/for the Portuguese people, hope/freedom was in sight 🪷🪷🪷

True, my parents lived through it, they were scared of their own shadow, very hard to live, well you don’t just survive, you couldn’t even complain the price of veggies, forget to talk about pay rise, state informers everywhere,3 people talking in th st would be asked to break up n get moving..
