Standard Xbox yes, but the Elite controllers have a Normal DPad option, still not as good as 8bitdo but still ok. Not worth 200 dollars to have a good Dpad, and if I didn't get mine as a gift, I'd never shell out that much $ for a controller. I agree, SNES and 8tbit are the pinnacle of Dpads.

just doesn't work very well with PS5 touch pad, but otherwise, I REALLY Love it. and PS5 DPad isn't awful either.

I know what your talking about. Its why I have an 8bitdo pro controller. Its kinda annoying using a dongle and swapping it from console to console to PC but its worth it for perfect button placement, and the PERFECT Dpad. here is a link if you wanna give it a try
