His footsteps drew closer, one arm slipping around him. "I took too long. Shizun, allow me to make it to you now?" He gently coaxed Shen Yuan, his hand boldly massaging his waist.

"Do the details matter?" He glances around, eying the surroundings before fixating on a half-eaten Ramen cup. He keeps his hand in place, tilting his head as he looks back at Shen Yuan.

"Has Shizun missed me?"

"Shizun.. I found you." He steps over the threshold, fingers overstretched towards him as he grasps hold of his wrist. His expression seems less frantic and the tension in his shoulder eases upon confirming that Shen Yuan is real.

Nothing else in the modern world was too interesting. I liked sharing popcorn though.
