It really was just the culture back then … almost taken for granted. He has an advantage though as he is already in the public eye. Someone like myself wouldn’t be taken seriously if I came out about it, so I wouldn’t dare and I wouldn’t want the scrutiny and attention.

I was working in music then and everyone knew what he was, but no one spoke up about it.

Yeah but the culture back then was different, but even then I am still amazed it has taken a long time… a bit like Al Fayed; these things are only coming out now.

Me and a friend happened to be sitting next to his table in a posh restaurant. He was eyeing up my mate. They invited us to join them which we did but it soon became apparent they only wanted afternoon delights and at that point, we left. Always been a creep.
