I’m closing my day with (you guessed it) - another debate. This time, diaphragmatic pacing and ventilator weaning

Diaphragmatic weakness is multi-factorial but lack of contraction on IMV is obviously a big one …..

I wonder why there isn’t a better word - ‘de-resuscitation’ sounds so phoney…English antonyms don’t work -better options in other languages I wonder?

I have no affiliation with Raindrop.io but if you’re at a conference, the app is great alternative to what ‘Pocket’ used to be - allows you to bookmark and file things in sections and #, from your social media or directly from the web, so you can read them later @esicm.bsky.social #Lives2025
