In late November she suddenly became ill and was diagnosed with Acute Kidney Disease (Kidney Failure in humans). We were started on a regimen of daily subQ fluids, pain meds, and iron supplements. Now she’s free in Kitty Valhalla ❤️❤️

Took mostly deaf kitty out for a walk today. A vole practically walked into her mouth. She enjoyed eating him, but how tf did that happen 😂

Took the doggos hiking again yesterday. THIS time they were so exausted when we returned home they only woke up for dinner and didn’t budge again. Even now they only got up for breakfast. Finally, exausted doggos.

The meow gremlin has failed her hearing test. Vet recommended getting her some hearing aids. Told her we’ll take her to Costco. She can still hear a bit but only heard one of three items the vet dropped, and I noticed it was the highest frequency sound she flicked her ears to. Oh well.

Got my Covid and flu shots yesterday morning on my way out of work (flu shot is required, covid is optional but I’m no baby give me all the shots). Going back to bed now 😴

The babies are hatching :) first pic is Cleopatra, released just an hour ago. Second is Charlie, released this past drizzly Tuesday (Monarchs can fly in a light drizzle). The other two are these guys before I got them out of the cage.
