It's true that some red states have high crime numbers but, data shows that the highest murder rates/crimes occur in Democratic-run cities within those states. For example, in 2024 FBI data, Memphis, TN (Democratic mayor) topped violent crime at 2,501 per 100,000, St. Louis, MO (Democratic mayor.)
