Finishing this one off tonight, think I may have been a bit tardy with the score for this one. Very tasty!
Dot 2 along with Roy “Chubby” Brown was a 2007 Blair Athol, Exceptional Cask, 100% proof (57.1%)Edition 12, 17 y/o single malt by Signtory vintage, matured in 1st fill Oloroso Sherry Butts, unchillfiltered and natural colour, from the highlands region and costing £74 a bottle #Blinddrams

Dram 4 palate - quite hot, high abv? More funkiness but with plenty spiced fruit & a savoury back note. Opens up really nicely with a drop of water.

Dram 4 nose - now this one smells good, very funky & sweaty. Unripe plums & white strawberries, even a slight hint of smoke.

The sweetness on this one makes me think of an STR cask here maybe?? Bit too sweet to elevate this above a still solid three.

Dram 1 palate - got to be a grain with that candy sweetness, lots of shortbread & vanilla. And sugar. Drop of water doesn't do much here either.
