So it doesn't matter what some US official might have said to anyone about "NATO expansion". If it hasn't gone through the proper processes, it isn't a binding.

We saw the people preparing resistance in the early days - digging trenches, building barriers, assembling molotovs - when things were at their most dire. Our aid didn't create the Ukrainian fighting spirit. Our aid is protecting the lives of the people who already have that spirit. (2/2)
