This is the bird in question (also being mistaken for a Bullock's Oriole)

So far it has been identified as a Dark Eyed Junco, pine warbler, American goldfinch, bullock's oriole, and painted bunting. I live in Arizona and the verdin is a very common yard bird that enjoys fruit and nectar, the other ones are not as common for yard visits.
