Didn’t the bill just cut future funding for the ‘iron dome ‘ but continue overall funding ? 422 reps voted against this thing too - I don’t think any one rep is correct all the time - at least she tried to explain herself

Any group of people being stuck and or burning to death in the middle of some of these persistent wild fires is not good - oregon isnt exactly a conservative bastion of hate here - what needs to happen though is definitely a more compassionate national response

A lot of these comments are crazy - the area that’s being cleared - around Bend and Sisters every year since I’ve been in Oregon has multiple wild fires - not exactly someplace people should stay - I think they’re doing some preventative work prior to wildfire season.
