Honestly this book is requires reading for all white feminists especially those outside of the USA. the section dedicated to gun violence i feel will be very eye opening to many people who have been privileged enough to not grow up with gun violence.

Too many people doe every year from medical practices based on hatred and disgust. And I love too deeply and took my oath to a spiritual level that this was uncomfortable but necessary. I didn't know pretty much everything covered in this book. Please read it.

And I would love to see a shift in medical care that is truly based on care and not hatred for things that arent fit white men. It hurts me to see the people in my life carrying the burden of Fat Phobia especially those that live a racialized experience ontop of that burden.

Understand and follow this book. It's very logically arranged and builds on each subject engagingly. I learned a lot of very terrible and dark things. This was a heavy book and I learned a lot about the modern obsession with thinness after demonizing it for centuries. If only to exclude Black People from beauty. A very sobering book that is very accessible to readers of all types. I find you'd need about a high-school level of literacy to
