We buried her beside my uncle, her baby that died a few hours after birth; she never recovered from the trauma of his death. She is buried with the only picture of him, covered in decades of lipstick.

Today is the 15th anniversary of my grandmother's passing. Since I was out, I bought her, my grandfather, and my uncle some flowers. She and my grandfather still do not have grave markers, but we're getting closer to finishing payments for them.
