Nintendo have successfully acquired a patent in the US for the game mechanic of summoning a creature and having it fight for you, as if they invented that mechanic in the first place! Necromancer's in RPG's, Digimon? Real-Time Strategy games? This is untenable!

Is anyone else incapable of playing video games with mods, or is that just me? They're all made with such intent, and I find myself unable to disrespect that with modding. Also I wouldn't know when to stop if I started, which is a whole other mind melt. Yes I am neurodivergent, why do you ask?

Computer is out of commission, so an old photo will have to do. Wanted to share some of my creativity. I find it hard to share, but I want to do things different here. Some NPC pixel art concepts I made a while back. Had fun making NPC's in pairs and having them play off each others personalities.

Just saw a tweet chastising someone for owning a pair of shoes for a year, and it's really telling how inexperienced they are with poverty. I've had the same pair of shoes for 5+ years now, because they got the job done and other things took priority.

Gosh, Halo has such good sound, level, and AI design. Even to this day so many studios could take notes. Amazing craft.

I understand that most award ceremonies are probably rigged. But for the game awards I would also understand if indie developers that value the, undeniable, recognition such an event affords might be bothered that DLC and remakes occupied coveted spaces.
