The Blokees Evangelion model ended up being more involved than I originally thought (it's not a complicated build, but there were more parts then I assumed), but the end result looks pretty darn rad.

One of the neat things about owning a 3D printer is having a really stupid idea in the middle of the night, popping online and discovering that someone else had the same stupid idea and did something about it.

Why did I have this thing packed away in storage?!
One of those plasma globe things. A clear glass orb sits on a black pedestal. Blue plasma filaments extend from a smaller orb inside the larger sphere, causing pink energy bursts where the filament touches the interior of the glass. My extended fingers near the plasma globe. The best part about the upcoming re-release of Prize Fighter (a not-terribly-good full-motion video boxing game) is that it brings Dick Miller to modern video game consoles.

I have the Deluxe Collector's Edition of the 4K Shin Godzilla preordered from godzilla.com (which also includes the black and white ORTHOchromatic version of the movie), but how could I resist getting this gorgeous SteelBook, too?

I am delighted by the create-a-cousin feature in Once Upon a Katamari, but I can't figure out why Bandai Namco doesn't let you use the word "sky" in your cousin's name.

Our son has gotten way into Hollow Knight and Silksong these past few weeks, so @faunafiddled.bsky.social has started making him this.
