🧪2/3The 1st fully synthetic plastic was made 1907 — as an electrical insulator for wiring - AC🔌(Tesla in Season 1!).
By WWII, it became a lifeline: scalable, cheap, & versatile. After, it symbolized progress.
Today — beaches littered, oceans polluted, and yet… plastic isn’t the villain we think.
