Did some light research and was pleasantly surprised at how rich the history of lofi is with roots stemming from the 60s, 80s, and 90s. With regards to modern lofi hip hop, there seems to be conflicting views crediting either Nujabes or J Dilla. Would love to hear your take on this if that’s cool.
